Mustang GT PP2 does beat SS 1LE with its Lightning Lap time. Keep in mind, though, that GT PP2(and probably Mach 1 w/HP) come stock with Cup 2 tires, which are more expensive, better track prepared but also much less daily-friendly than SC3 that SS 1LE comes with.
