I tried a pair of these over priced turbo guards. I also tried no filter or guard. I had the exact same results. It just isn’t happy over 1000hp. Great gains in the 15-20psi range but above that it tapers off quickly.
Right now I am thinking cam selection or valve train control is holding me back. It could be the compressors are done but they are 67’s and rated at 900+each so that seems unlikely. The small t3 exhaust housings seem like a possible issue but the current pre turbine exhaust pressure is still low I think. I did check my sensor compared to a manual gauge and the readings are correct. Ignition maybe, I narrowed the gap to .017 and bumped the swell.
I have some other stuff going on so I might just have be happy with this power level for now.
