Your best bet is to find someone with compressed air tools if you don’t want the dealer to remove the steering wheel. My friend and I were able to remove the T50 Torx bolt with his compressed air ratchet.

My ZL1 is a m6. I got the shift knob and steering wheel from Wildhammer Motorsports.

I love the Alcantara steering wheel. Also have it in my C8 Corvette. You’ll find the downside to the carbon fiber and leather is a hot to the touch steering when your car sits in the heat of summer. Don’t have that problem with the Alcantara.
