It's a MF to get on the fascia and fill the gaps between the fascia and diffuser but, playing with it a lot I got it on and looks somewhat decent. When you install the bumper back on the car it doesn't flex so getting the body panels to line up is nearly impossible the clips just aren't strong enough to hold in place so the corners by the tail light barely pop out where the panels just aren't perfect fit anymore.
I bought the Anderson's diffuser although I run trufiber on everything else. Splitter, Dive planes (finished carbon both sides) bezels, side skirts but I didn't want to wait anymore for the diffuser to be finished by TF since things are getting back to normal with shows and meets.
Anyhow, I went over to trufber 2 weeks ago to test fit a trunk and normal Zl1 wing in carbon I showed them the problems I'm having with the Diffuser and that's when it was explained to me. They said when you make a mold you have to make a cast of the part on the car so it fits perfect. I had bought them the GM zl1 1le diffuser but they said it needed to be on a Bumper because it flexes to much so I found a wrecked zl1 1le and and brought the bumper with the diffuser on it. Then they said that still flexes to much. I recently found a shop that will make the mold while the bumper is still on my car. I plan to install the wrecked 1le bumper on my car. They will spray mold release agent on the bumper and the diffuser then they will spray fiberglass to make a stiff mold for the part.
Last week I took my car to Automotive Apparel to get my diffuser covered in xpel and I asked if they could line the bumper panels up any better. Michael took me outside and showed me his CTS V with an Anderson's diffuser it was exactly the same thing and he confirmed what trufiber said. He adjusted it some but he said He wouldn't be surprised if it pop out a little on the 1st hard bump I hit.

I have seen that same problem on other youtube videos with the Anderson diffuser which is why I was hesitant. Sucks all other options are extremely tacky and look cheap
