If your dealer is signed up for VINView, they have the ability to track all of their in transit units(unless it's a unit that is held up due to missing parts for the chip shortage). This is a new application from GM that allows us to better track vehicles once built.
Not all dealers are signed up for this as there is a cost involved. You would have to ask your dealer if they have it. It's not likely that the sales person has access to this. Mostly inventory and sales managers use this.
