I think where I am at power wise doesn’t prove a lot. 1000hp from a 5.3 with rods and pistons seems safe and some guys with the trucks have done it all ready. The questions I see going forward is how far will a 100% stock motor go and how far will a mild build like what I have go.
Like times in the past it is hard to know if this motor is being pushed or not. I suspect with the better than stock parts I have that it is good for another 10psi(200+hp) possibly a lot more.
I am thinking about learning how to run a consistent 6.50(with a good reaction time) and entering some 6.50 races and then in the fall turn it up another 200hp or so.
I have a lot of data. I will post up some screen shots. I can email logs if anyone wants to look closer.
