Media blitz and preparation for EV has nothing to do with semiconductors. You don't need semiconductors to make commercials with vehicles that aren't even real at this point.

I know everyone is upset but you all really have no idea what goes on behind the scenes in car production. It's not what we want to hear but our Camaros don't generate enough profit. There simply aren't enough people like us that want to buy them right now. It is what it is. Don't blame GM, blame everyone that wants an SUV instead of a Camaro right now.

Profit margins are everything when you can't build the same amount of vehicles you could 2 years ago. Of course they're going to prioritize their most profitable models. Not just for the good of GM but for the good of the dealers that have A LOT of employees that have families to support.
