Continental ExtremeContact Sports are only about $60 more for a set of four than Nitto's latest and greatest (i.e. least shitty) 555RII. Those Nittos are realistically track tires (100tw). The Contis are about $270 more than the Nitto 555G2s, which are a summer-only street tire. But the Contis are virtually identical in performance and quality to the PS4S in both dry and wet grip, tread life, and noise/comfort, and will be an order of magnitude better than the 555G2 in all of these aspects as well as basic quality (e.g. staying round). For an all season, the Conti Sport Contact 5P is $120 cheaper than the EC Sports.
