I finally checked driving on Nascar banking at speed off of my bucket list last month...it is incredible!
The car's PDR said 1.68g max and Harry's Lap timer on my phone said 1.78g max!
Track (which config if applicable) = Charlotte Motor Speedway Roval - No Bus Stop - Charlotte, NC [fixed typos from post #1]
Elapsed Time (please include times to the hundredth if possible) = 1:26.24 (See attached Harry's Lap Timer screenshot.)
Year / Model / Trim = 2017 1SS 1LE
Date = 3/17/2021
Tires = OEM Goodyear Supercar 3 with about 5-6/32" of tread depth
Mods = Track alignment with front strut mod (camber: -2.8° front, -1.4° rear, toe: 0° front, +0.05° rear per side [+0.10° total rear toe]), StopTech STR 600 DOT 4 brake fluid, StopTech Sport Brake Pads (309.14050 front, 309.17180 rear, very similar feel to stock pads but more pedal pressure is required for equivalent braking force), GM plastic track brake cooling deflectors. Traction/stability control fully disabled, track mode with touring steering mode.
I was surprised to find that this is the most intimidating track I have ever driven due to the walls everywhere with very limited runoff space in the infield and the lack of turn in/apex/track out cones at this particular event. Unfortunately I witnessed one car that
spun and another car that
crashed both in the first session which also increased the intimidation factor.
I also made a
playlist with some other videos from the event.
Weemus improved his best time to 1:23.82 at the same event but didn't post it on here yet...it was nice to meet you!

It was also nice to meet another SS 1LE driver who has a lot of experience at this track and his best lap from last year was a 1:22.11:

Thanks, I am not on the level of some of the people who post here but I'm enjoying the journey of improvement! It looks like you have been making big lap time improvements since you posted this too...great job!
