So I am going to do a trans fluid change in my A8 auto 2017 SS. I don’t know if it had the TSB flush done so I am going to do it just in case.

I know the procedure; warm car, drain fluid, drop pan, change filter, clean, make sure car is level, pump in new fluid, run car to warm fluid to temp, run car through gears for 3 seconds, keep car running in neutral and open fluid level drain.

I have 12 quarts of the Mobil 1 blue label fluid. I know that dropping the pan and filter will take out about 7 quarts.

How much fluid drains out from just opening the level drain with the car off?

I want to used as much of the fluid I have as possible to replace as much of the old fluid as possible.
