I will recommend this. Make sure your dealer shows you an email verifying they have an Allocation. I know of at least three different people who dropped deposits down only to find out their dealer did not have an Allocation. After waiting long periods of time too. The dealer will just hold your money and wait till they either get an Allocation or you get fed up and just decide to say eff it and get something off their lot.
Like Intimidator said, get in writing that your deposit is refundable.
Great advice from everyone checking in. My dealer made it clear that he obviously doesn’t have an allocation for 2022 and I will be the first order in for the day the allocation comes in. He is estimating he will get the allocation mid to late May (assuming no more shutdown) which works fine for me. He has been up front about all of this. We are sitting down Monday to put the preliminary order together so it can be placed when it opens next week.
