For the OP, try taking your car to a different g m dealership, such as Cadillac or GMC. They're all supposed to work on other makes of g m cars.

Actually, I watched the video of the GM and Mobil 1 reps when they addressed the Corvette group and they said it could be run in any Dexso motor, not just Corvette. There is no difference on the LT1 motors from 2016 to current model. The oil was developed to address complaints from customers about having to switch between different weight oils when tracking the cars
