Elite design has the restrictor under the blower - where it should be - they calculated max vapor flow through the inlet line and can for optimum separation performance. These cans are still relatively small so high velocity is a problem
It's just another indication MM doesn't really know what they're doing, my Elite E2X has been flawless. I empty it every 3-5k
