What I use is SeaFoam. I have been using SeaFoam in everything that I have or had and have stored. I have never had any problems in the last 15 years of using it. SeaFoam keeps your gas good for up to 24 months and it cleans your carb, injectors, etc. check it out.

They recommend 1 oz. per gallon. When I stored my ZL1 for the winter, we have a 19 gallon gas tank, so I always go a few oz's or more. I put around 22 oz. in my gas tank and top off with premium and take a little 5-10 mile ride to circulate it through your fuel system, then done! I plugged my battery tender in then covered my car for the winter.
In my Sierra 1500 4x4 truck I have a 26 gallon tank. I would add 2 16 oz. cans in my gas and top it off, then drive it everyday like I normally do. It cleans out my injectors while driving. My truck is my daily driver and I drive it all year round.
I also used it when storing my lawn mower, Harley, dirt bike, jet ski, snowmobile, leaf blower, 4 wheeler, snowblower etc.
