Besides the serial number, just look at pictures or ask for a picture under the hood of the strut top tower, it will always be blue. I have a ZL1 that previous owner put all OEM 1LE parts on, My car looks like a 1LE except for my 20 inch wheels he had powder coated black, I wanted a real 1LE, but the last test drive changed my mind, anyway the look with magnetic ride is great !
