Stock is 275. If they were smaller than that then it most likely was not a HC. And due to the wheel well I don't think you can go beyond a 295 or 305 depending on the tire. The new WB HCs can hang a wider tire. But the standard HC is limited.

From a dig, with those ridiculous stock tires, I bet I could dust one to sixty, but after that, no way.

My HC was a lease and I was planning to turn it in. So when it came time to buy tires I threw some crappy MuchoMacho tires on just to satisfy the lease requirements. LOL!! At the last minute I decided to keep the HC. So here I am with crappy tires. Not for nothing, I'm willing to bet these tires are every bit as good (or bad) as the P-Zeros but for a substantially cheaper price (I think the set was like $700-ish). Anyway, the reason for this story...if I race someone, I don't even try to out-launch them. I don't often come across anyone with enough ower to beat me. So I let it out easy and then just figure I'll catch them on the back end. And that is usually what happens. Although I have gotten quite good at letting it out easy (mine is a manual trans BTW). Still, my best bet is to ease it out, let them get the jump, catch some traction, and then Hawk them down.

Their trap speeds, however, are 120~127 mph. Seeing such slow ETs for that much trap speed tells us that the 0-60 portion of the run must have been pretty unimpressive.

Again, on stock tires this is typical. The HC group that went to my local track tho, they all had DRs. One of them had a CAI. The others simply removed the stock filter when they ran. They were all 11.1-10.7. Of course those were all A8 trans. I was the only M6 trans. But the point is that the HC makes way too much power and has a way too narrow all season crappy P-Zero to make a decent run. Even a good street tire would make a huge improvement. The HC guys used to always tell people that the first mod is a tire.
