Back in 2017, I approached the salesperson at my Chevy dealership about having him help me locate a used SS the following spring and the plan was to get one in yellow (has long been a preferred color on sports cars for me, too). He flaked (didn't bother to follow up), I got busy with other things, and it slid.
Spring of 2020 marked another uptick in my interest. I realized that buying used (at the time) made zero sense from a cost perspective, and I would be inheriting whatever problems that PO may have created with the transmission or the clutch (only looking for M6). Buying new meant no shot at yellow as it was already long gone by then and the replacement Shock color wasn't what I was after. Ended up with Summit White and couldn't be happier.
