Thank you for taking the time to take pictures and write this !! I’m glad to hear it is not a big nightmare to take the supercharger off.

Just so you know, I did not replace that last bolt when I installed my catch can because I couldn’t get it out. Many of us did not replace it. Just be very careful to not over tighten it.

I bought new supercharger bolts from GM to replace the bolts that were accessible and they came with brand new gaskets. It’s all part of the kit so if you want to replace the rubber seals between the supercharger and the engine intake ports you can.

One question I have for ya....... are there dowel pins on the bottom of the supercharger ??


The Hellcat had two dowel pins on the bottom of the blower used to line up the supercharger with the top of the motor. I believe they are also there to keep the supercharger in position and prevent it from shifting from side to side while under load.

Any amount of shift between the supercharger and the motor might cause the belt to get chewed up..
