It's not that you won't make power, you will make the supercharger run hotter to make the boost needed to hit your power goal. Cam overlap bleeds off boost so you have to pulley down to make the boost back up. A guy local did a gpi drop rods/piston combo, gpi ss4 cam, ported heads, P1sc setup. It needed like a 3.7 pulley to hit 10psi and IAT's hit almost 180 after a pull.

You also don't need a cam to make 6-700 with boost. The P1sc on 8psi with LT4 fuel system would be right around 600whp. Then you could add a Meth system and break 700. No need to cam the LT1 until you want to go 800+whp on boost. Then you might as well do rods/pistons/cam all at once.

Far as NA...you will want heads/ported msd/headers and E85 with that cam and it will run strong. If it's a A8 then you will also need a Converter. If you install that cam with essentially no other mods, it will sound cool but be slower then a well sorted bolt-on car.
