Let's keep things in perspective, you're talking apples and oranges. If someone is looking to buy all season tires, its because they need to be able to drive in all types of weather. Of course an all season isn't going to grip like a summer tire, or a drag radial or a competition road race tire. If the OP needs that type of traction, he shouldn't be considering an all season tire.
