I autocross my A10 ZL1 every season since 2017. You will want it in Auto Mode. You will hit the rev limiter otherwise. It would really be hard to avoid the fuel cut out without short-shifting. It shifts so fast that I find those little excursions into third really can help, without the penalty of upsetting the car on downshift or without loss of concentration. The car is much faster in auto. ps. I drive in manual most of the time on the street.
