Everyone seems to tout these M6's but I'm not sure they shift any faster then an old Muncie with a Hurst shifter. The M6 seems less smoother than the old 4 speeds, but I haven't driven one on a regular bases in 15 years. Clearly the M6 is stronger, except maybe the "rock crusher" Muncie. It would be interesting to see so more old timers opinions on what they think.

Smack dab between third and fifth, I felt terrible! I would agree with that, those older transmissions were smoother but less robust. Still though, I’m going to go with, it not you girl, it’s me....
