Not sure why. Flex fuel is probably the best mod you can do on a 6th gen SS or ZL1. These engines crave higher octane. If you don't want to run Flex then get a Meth injection kit.

Big difference in power and performance on these cars when you can go from 12 degrees of timing up to 18-20.
