Since the pad on the J55 is a bit of a mystery, I can't speak to it. If it is the same compound as on the SS 1LE/ZL1/ZLE, that is the best all-around pad I have ever run. I have used Carbotech, Hawk and Powerstop on my 1LE and none of them are as good as the OEM Ferodo.

The j55 pads front appear to be made by Brembo, rears are Ferodo hp1000.
