I will always use the threat of the survey. That's one thing we all have at our disposal as our ally, because I do know GM does take those surveys seriously. If you give a scathing one, the dealers are informed by their regional/district management and people are held accountable.

Always use the survey as a bargaining tool in this situation. Hold out on filling out and submitting the surveys until about a week after you've had the car back from whatever your initial service was. If you find something they damage, tell them, if you simply fix the problem correctly, buying brand new genuine GM parts for the parts you damaged and properly, carefully, and correctly replace them and make the proper repairs, I will still give you a good review on my survey.

If you don't, I will not.

I bet you'll find them snap to attention rather quickly when you bring up the "S" word lol
