D) It’s fun ! Most car guys “get it”. Very satisfying working on your own car and making something that is to suit your particular car that fits, works and looks good. Way more satisfying than clicking “add to cart”.

Didn't mean to insult or give anyone shit, it was a comment made quickly and too blunt and inconsiderate, I apologize. I also didn't notice you were outside the US, my bad.
I have made a few things for my cars as well. Building a diffuser seemed like a very challenging project that requires testing to do right and ensure airflow effectiveness, and a lot of work to fabricate it.
When I saw that the ZL1 Add-ons products weren't mentioned here and they are only $250 max here in the US (less than the price of a single tire), I decided that would be the solution for me when the time comes. It's rare to see a quality effective product that inexpensive. I'm not buying it for show, I will only install prior to track day and remove immediately after, so I don't care that it isn't pretty. Looks like it will install in minutes.
