Wait, you are comparing a modified car to a stock car with that statement.
Let's look at a legitimate comparison (when you said they were stock) of what you've reported for your own cars:
SS M6=12.3 and first run ever 12.7
LT1 M6=13.1 and first run ever 13.2
Conclusion, the SS spanked the crap out of the LT1, and you even lost 35 lbs, giving a small advantage to the LT1 by having a lighter driver on board.
