I know the picture that we see when looking at the rear view mirror is typically a shocka - especially for us folks that have the big wang (1LE or fitted afterward). I recently installed a combo rear view mirror mounted dashcam on my 2020 Silverado, and was so impressed that I decided to investigate installing one on the ZL1. I drive transport trucks for a living and rarely peep at the rear view mirror on the Camaro, but as we know the picture we see is less than good. I wanted a dashcam for the ZL1 anyways, so I decided to install a 'REAR VIEW CAMERA' version that would also give me the option of seeing EVERYTHING that is behind me via the rear camera. For the price, it's a no brainer.

Even when I finished my research and purchased what I believed to be the ultimate and most expensive option, it still was only a couple hundred bucks CAD.

I'm about a half way through the install and it's super easy. I also needed something to do while she was off the road for winter. This is a awesome mod that can be done in a couple of hours that gives you full 4K front camera and 1080P rear cam recordings with GPS & speed. The bonus is having a 1080P rear view mirror that totally out performs what GM has installed on the non 1LE versions of the Camaro. Win, win, win....
