I'd agree with that when it comes to boost, fueling the LT is expensive. Getting NA power out of an LT1 seems easier than an ls3, FBO LT's are making a lot of steam compared to an ls3 imo, H/C even more so though it seems it's genrally more money for an LT1 H/C package vs LS3 if paying for labor.

im almost positive im moving up to LT1
my only concern is regretting losing my cammed bolt on 5thgen then not making as much power on a 6th.
but apparently they dyno around 410whp stock, so getting back to that power shouldnt be too hard.
and theyre a couple hundred pounds lighter
dont see any FI coming in the future, so fueling cost isnt too much of a worry YET, but i do see the concern you all bring up
