I feel so bad for everyone/anyone who has to deal with this! Totally inexcusable approach by GM, IMO. This is why I left the brand for decades before coming back to buy my Camaro SS. There's another thread on this that I'm commenting on as well. There are actually members "defending" GM's approach. I don't get it! If anyone went into a dealership to buy any vehicle impacted by this issue and the dealer told them, "Hey, I know you're going to spend tens of thousands of dollars on this vehicle but your engine may go at any time due to a KNOWN issue and GM's approach is screw you, we'll take your money and you deal with the headaches of catastrophic engine failure on a brand new car that could've been avoided.". I can't speak for anyone else, but I'd walk!
