I have experienced the hot start issue myself and since no more warranty i plan on going with an aftermarket high torque starter like Power Master or similar. 11.5:1 compression hot motor is tough for a starter to deal with ( but i seriously thought GM would have a better starter/fix by now).
No way am i paying dealer prices for OEM just to have the same issue happen again.
