I lived in Chicago for over 40 years and moved to San Diego over 9 years ago... I understand the anxiety of moving from somewhere you've always lived... While Kalifornia isn't my cup of tea, the adventure has been worth it (Hey, I bought a 2020 2SS and can drive it nearly any day of the year (that it isn't raining!))...
I lived in Prescott, AZ for 4 years during college (1986-1990) and absolutely LOVED it... Great little town (however not so "little" anymore...) There are some great roads in AZ for a 1LE, I'm jealous... Out here in SoCal we have so much damn traffic... I can't wait to retire and put CA in my rear view mirror, permanently!!!
