Do people think it would have a significant impact or only a minor impact?

I would prefer to do this over spending C$7500 Canadian dollar on the better cooling front brake kit from AP Racing / Essex

Since I’ve put supercar 3R tires on my car in Hawk DCT 70 pads, my pedal has gone to the floor twice while slowing down for corners and it has scared the crap out of me, granted both times it happened I did not take a full 40 minute break between tracking sessions. However I want to have complete confidence in my brakes at all times, within reason.
Put the shims and SS deflectors as suggested. No reason whatsoever for you to run DTC70s tho, which will put out tons of heat regardless of what you do. Id go down to DTC60s if you want more bite vs stockers. Or Ferodo 1.11.

Then, id swap the Motul for SRF and if you cannot get it, try Willwood EXP as it is VERY good.

Lastly, dont kid yourself about AP solving heat issues from high torque pads. Been there done it. Stock Brembos are mighty enough. Just reduce heat and improve brake fluid (plus shims and deflectors).

Cheers!
