Hmm, I'm not sure I've ever heard any backup sensor sounds from my car, to be honest - even when I didn't fade the rear speakers all the way out. Now I will have to go try to back into an object just to see if they ever make noise, LOL! I would assume they are set up to make the same volume of noise regardless of the fader setting, so that someone can't unintentionally just fade them out. If so, nothing should have changed on mine because my rear speakers are still connected to the radio unit outputs via the factory wiring harness. The only reason they aren't playing music right now is because I have the fader adjusted all the way forward.
