Seems like such a simple question. I watched a video from The Tuning School do just that and collect data without a laptop in the car and then downloaded it to a laptop. Before ordering, I chatted online and asked the question to the same company and they said no. Tuning seems like magic tricks, paintless dent repair techniques, etc. Very hard to get anyone to reveal anything.
