I didn't do a 'full flush'. I drained using the sensor.
But I do change my fluid every year due to track use. So, YMMV.

That's my usual thinking is just over time it'll even out when switching from stock fluid to redline d4 but if people here are saying MTF switch has different expansion properties and you should top off instead of taking 8oz out makes me think it's more imperative to fully flush before running tremec fluid on track?
Otherwise probably like 10% ATF remaining in system cycling through
