For your situation, not a heavy foot and tire budget-conscious, I would recommend either the Continental DWS 06, Michelin a/s 3+, or Michelin All Season 4 (the brand new version of the a/s 3+). Those are the top performance all seasons, and I honestly wouldn't bother with anything else in the category. You'll give up some performance as compared to summer only, but the increased tire life and better road manners will be good things for you.
