Shockingly I dropped 2 seconds off my best time and while the Re71Rs did get too hot after 5-6 hard 1:30 or so laps in a row, so did the Cup2s in similar enough fashion that the age of the tires front to back mattered more then the mix in compounds.
If you hadn't told me I would have never known that they were different compounds. So just in case anyone's ever in the same pinch. They work surprisingly well together.

I think I'll just run this for the rest of the season (only 2 maybe 3 days left) and re-evaluate over winter.
