If they, at least gave you the option, of say a 100% or 150% higher spring rate for street use, it would make the case for a ZLE to be much more street friendly.
Having said that, maybe they did it on purpose to make sure that ZLE's were mostly track used. I know Porsche and Ferrari play those games, not sure GM cares enough to have that attitude.
