I agree with this and so do most tuners. The meth is tuned in for the added octane but not so that it is completely dependent. For instance if you can get 50whp using meth, your tuner may adjust it only to make 35-40whp. Also your tuner can put in that if the presence of knock is noted the car will pull timing. This is a fail safe.
I will be having my meth pump serviced every year but will also have another as back up while it’s out. Cheap insurance to get this done routinely. Makes tons of power.
