Can you think of an on road event that may have contributed to premature failure? Like hitting a pothole really hard. Or driving for prolonged periods on really shitty roads? My 2019 has about 3k miles and I've had a few moments when I thought, "that's going to leave a mark".
The only noise I've heard is the shocks compressing over speed bumps. I get a very noticeable bike pump sound in the front on compression and rebound, but the rear is dead quiet.
