I guess it's time for an update. After about a month of another new battery that the dealership put in themselves, the battery died again. I had the car at a transmission shop that they out source some work to because I needed a new flush (was getting the new mobil 1 fluid).
While it was there, the car wouldn't turn over. Same issue, electrical codes and a dead battery. Chevy called me and said they were gonna have the transmission shop diagnose the issue to avoid moving the car back and forth. I asked if they were sure about that because it's electrical problems and I wasn't sure if they had the tools capable to trace the problem. In the end the transmission shop replaced the control module for the fuel pump because that's what the code said, u0109. I've always had this code come up everytime the issues comes but it goes away whenever the battery was replaced. I mentioned that to the shop but they think it was broken and causing a short on the battery or draining it.
Got the car back and a week later car isn't turning over and the code is back. Back to the dealership it goes.
