What you are saying are factors but the Hellcat example is a bit of a moot point as they've been proven to be underrated (either at the crank or have very little drivetrain loss). There is about a 500lbs difference but the Hellcat makes about 100 more rwh than the ZL1 does.
60-150 roll race with and without passengers and you will see the clear difference weight still factors in.
