The original pads were my fault. I should have realized the large price discrepancy. Otherwise, there was no indication they were not up to the task and now after removing them and seeing very little if any wear coupled with the car stopping just fine from 140 over and over, I'm thinking the flagger was full of shit and if anything saw some sparks from further bedding. The only way I would know differently is if I had a GoPro pointed at my wheels.
I did call Brembo and explained my situation before ordering them through them and they explained they are EXACTLY the same as the Brembo/Ferodo pads that are installed at the factory. They are slightly cheaper ordering directly through them as they have eliminated one person in the chain.
