I built my engine for 100K, change springs at 50K. Cam Motion sub .600 lift, Johnson lifters , they are .045 taller than LS7 lifters, so probably going to need LS7 pushrods which are 7.800 or .050 shorter than LT1 pushrods. On my car the Johnson lifter and LS7 pushrods put the plungers at .75 preload or near center of travel. I'll let the crowd talk about .35 preload or . 135 (for near solid). I'm just thankful the Johnson are not only quality they have a BOAT LOAD of travel .215. It is V ERY hard to screw up on that. At least I hope so.
