Years ago I found a C6Z06 for sale by owner on Autotrader listed as "$XX,XXX OBO". I looked at the car and made him an offer below his asking. His response... "Noooo, that's a firm price" and then he updated his ad to 'FIRM' that an hour later. Really dude?
Thinking back, I was pretty sure he DIDN'T want to sell the car but (likely) his wife told him to get rid of because he wasn't driving it. "See, honey, I tried to sell the car but no one will buy it".
Wonder if this situation is the same?
