Yeah, the biggest issue with the Z51 C8 is the under-steer and even with -3 camber, it isn't that track focused.

The ME design has the handling feel and center of gravity advantage, but if you can't get it to have a neutral balance without having to add a ton of neg. camber, then it almost kinda defeats the purpose.

As with previous gens., the base models are designed for the 60+ crowd, the Z51 gives it a little better performance, but the money version will be the Z06. Normally followed by the GS model, but if they put the rumored electric motors on it, that will increase weight.
