It's not a matter of simply getting a small enough tube in the port to fill. There is a checkvalve that needs to be depressed. Guys that use the upside down bottle with a hose use a thin screwdriver to depress the valve. Your suction gun won't provide a way to depress the valve.
Buy the DMS tool, or buy an aftermarket expansion tank. Or, buy an expansion tank and replumb the system like I did (DMS also makes adapters to convert the male push fittings on the blower to -12an fittings).

LT4 SC Coolant Filler Adapter Tool
Lets face it, the coolant filling system found on the LT4 supercharged Camaro ZL1 and CTS-V can be a real pain in the butt to fill. Over the years we've tried a number of different solutions but none of them did the job without some pitfalls. DMS recently designed a 3D printed adapter that makes a water tight seal on the filler fitting while depressing the check valve allowing the use of a very common soda or water bottle to act as a "funnel".
