they slowly climb in my experience...the longer on track the hotter it gets...especially if the circuit is tight and lots of shifting occurs. Max is 230 or so when ambients are 93-95°. Summit Point Main is worse than VIR Full for transmission temps. Lap times are 1:22 at Summit Point vs 2:03 at VIR with two long straights at VIR to allow cooling.
