Transmission Fluid Alternative for the A10...Amsoil!

I know this post won't be met with much confidence but there is an alternative to the GM ULV for our A10 transmissions. Signature Series Fuel-Efficient Synthetic Automatic Transmission Fluid by Amsoil is the answer. Their page lists this fluid as approved for use in the 10 speed automatic for GM and Ford.

With their "easy pack" quarts, it is actually simple to add the fluid when it is time. Of course you have to add the fluid through the little fluid check orifice which is a PITA. Buy 8 quarts but my suggestion is to use 7 to begin and adjust from there. Do not overfill this transmission!

Yes, I am using this fluid now but didn't want to post until I was the "guinea pig" and had at least a track day under my belt. The transmission behaved flawlessly and I never had any problems whatsoever. The temps were nearly the same but I was at a different track. I don't have an apples to apples comparison for temps.

Below are a few pics from the Amsoil site for reference...I hope this helps someone as this stuff works great!
